Too complex to plan by spreadsheet

A 400-node logistics network was planned in spreadsheets. Every change took weeks to model and still surprised the teams downstream.

Approach

Model first, move second

We built a live digital twin of the network so planners could rehearse a change against a faithful replica before committing it to the real operation.

What we built

A twin wired to live telemetry

A 3D and data model of the network synced to live IoT and ERP feeds, a scenario simulator, and web dashboards that planners and executives share as one view — operated by us under an SLA.

Outcome

18% out of the cost base

Planners now rehearse moves in the twin instead of the real world. Logistics cost fell 18% and disruptions are caught before they cascade.
